Privacy Policy

This “Privacy Policy” has been drawn up by Salumificio Aliprandi S.p.A., legally domiciled in Gussago (BS), via Mandolossa n. 25 (hereinafter referred to as"Aliprandi”) pursuant to art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 regarding personal data protection (hereinafter, “Privacy Code”), in order to describe the methods used to manage the website www.aliprandi.com (hereinafter, the “Sito”) and the services provided by Aliprandi through the Site (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) regarding the processing of the personal data pertaining to the users who consult the Site and/or use the Services (hereinafter referred to as the “Users”).   
This Privacy Policy refers exclusively to the Site and to no other website accessed by the User through links.

 

1. Our Policy

Everyone is entitled to the protection of his/her personal data. Aliprandi respects the right of its Users to be informed as to the acquisition and other processing operations involving their personal data. When processing data that may identify the User, either directly or indirectly, Aliprandi, in conformity with what is stipulated by the Privacy Code, makes every effort to comply with the principle of strict necessity.
For this reason, Aliprandi has configured the Site in such a way as to restrict the use of the Users’ personal data as far as possible and to exclude the processing of personal data when the specific objectives pursued may be realized using anonymous data or using other methods, enabling the User to be identified only whenever strictly necessary or on request of the Authorities.

 

2. Acquisition of personal data

Customer Area

Furthermore, there is an area of the site that is not freely accessible to all Users: in order to enter it, in fact, in the section of the site called “Customer Area” it is necessary to be in possession of a user number and password. This restricted area of the Site may only be accessed by Users who are already Aliprandi customers, to whom Aliprandi, in the course of its commercial dealings, has assigned and communicated personal user numbers and passwords. These credentials, in fact, identify a certain customer and enable the latter to enter an exclusive section of the Site where it is possible to view and find confidential data and information easily.

Data supplied by the User on a voluntary basis

The discretionary, explicit and voluntary forwarding of e-mails to the addresses indicated on the Site imply the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to any inquiry, along with any other personal data included in the message.
Likewise, the communication of personal data by the User in the section of the Site called “Contacts” implies the subsequent acquisition by Aliprandi of the data voluntarily entered by the User in the specific fields, which will be processed in order to reply to the messages and/or inquiries submitted.

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures enabling this Site to function acquire some personal data in the course of their routine operations whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not acquired for the purpose of associating it with the identified parties concerned, but owing to its very nature, could enable the identification of Users if it were processed and associated with data held by third parties.
This category of data comprises IP addresses or the MAC addresses of computers used by Users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in answer, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply provided by the server (successful, error etc.) and other parameters relating to the operative system and the User’s IT environment.
This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical information on Site usage and for monitoring its correct functioning.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on the hard disk of the User’s computer (files sent by the Internet site server to the browser of the Site User) as he/she surfs the sites.
The cookies memorized on the User’s computer may not be used to call up any data from his/her hard disk, to transmit computer viruses or to identify and use his/her email address. Each cookie is exclusively related to the browser and device used by the User to enter the Site.

* Cookie categories used
Aliprandi only makes use of so-called technical cookies, i.e. cookies whose purpose it is to speed up browsing and facilitate the use of the Site.
More specifically, they are:

  • Strictly necessary cookies
    These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the Site, they enable functions such as authentication, validation, the management of a browsing session and fraud prevention.
  • Functionality cookies
    These cookies provide additional functions and allow for the User’s choices to be memorized, such as language selection or the character size used.
  • Performance cookies
    These cookies keep track of the pages the User visits most often and Site activity. They enable the immediate identification and solving of technical problems the User encounters while browsing the Site. The information stored by these cookies is aggregate, anonymous and is not used to acquire personal data for advertising purposes.
  • Session cookies
    The session cookies used serve the purpose of speeding up the Internet traffic analysis and facilitating User access to the services provided by the Site.
    With regard to such functions, no personal data of the Users is acquired by the Site. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information and neither are any types of so-called persistent cookies used, that is to say user tracking systems.
    The use of session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification data (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) which are necessary to enable safe and efficient Site browsing activities.
    The session cookies used on this Site avoid having to make recourse to other IT techniques that are potentially detrimental to the User’s privacy when browsing and do not enable the acquisition of the User’s personal identity data.
  • Proprietary and third party cookies
    The afore-mentioned cookies are used directly by Aliprandi and are therefore “proprietary cookies” generated by the Site.
    However, other technical cookies generated by third party sites are used and placed on the User’s computer: these are the so-called “third party”.
    So-called cookie analytics are “third party” i c.d. cookies analytics, that is to say, cookies that are used by web site managers to acquire information in an aggregate form, as to the number of Users and how they visit the Site, in order to process general statistics on the service and its usage.
    The cookies analytics Aliprandi makes use of are those provided by Google Inc. through its Google Analytics service. Google Analytics uses cookies to enable the Site to analyse the ways in which Users utilise the Site. The information generated by these cookies on Site usage (comprising its IP address) will be transmitted to Google Inc. on servers likely to be located in the United States where they are memorized. Google uses such information for the purpose of assessing Site usage, for drawing up reports on Site activity and supplying other services relating to Site activity and the use of the Internet. Google may also transfer such information to third parties for legal requirements, or whenever third parties process this information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate the User’s IP address with any other data held by Google. Nevertheless, it would be technically possible for Google to identify individual Users on the grounds of data obtained as a result of processing.
    In this respect, Users are invited to consult the cookie policy and relative consent form on  https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it, through which it is possible to disable the Google Analytics service and therefore prevent the transfer of data to Google Inc.
    The cookies released by Google Inc. as part of their Google Maps service and used by Aliprandi on their Site also belong to the “third party” category.
    Google releases a certain number of cookies on its web pages which contain a map of the Google Maps service, most of which serve the purpose of acquiring information and memorizing the number, behaviour and preferences of Users each time they visit web pages containing the geographical maps of Google Maps.
    These cookies, some of which are semi-persistent, i.e. they expire 2/10 years after the last visit to a page containing a Google map, may also be disabled by the User, To do so, it is sufficient to modify browsing preferences as indicated below.

* Users’ rights
Cookies will only be used on the Site subject to the prior consent of the data subject.
The User may consent to the use of cookies by clicking “ok” on the banner which appears when he/she visits the Site for the first time, on the home page of the latter, or by closing the banner and scrolling down the homepage or by clicking on any element it contains (i.e. by effecting any scroll down activity).
Users are nevertheless reminded that the authorization requested by way of the aforementioned banner only refers to the use of “third party” technical cookies and not proprietary technical cookies.

3. Voluntary disclosure of data

Aside from the mentioned browsing data, Users are free to provide personal data when registering in the “Contacts” section, registering for the Newsletter service or by sending his/her email address containing specific personal data, for instance when making inquiries and/or requesting informative and/or commercial material or other communications.
If Users refuse or fail to provide such data to Aliprandi they may not be able to receive what they have requested

4. Data Controller and Data Supervisor

With regard to the processing of the Users’ personal data, the Data Controller is Salumificio Aliprandi S.p.A., headquartered in Gussago (BS), via Mandolossa n. 25, tax and VAT code no. 03162330173.
The Data Supervisor is Mr. Francesco Aliprandi.

5. Methods and objectives of data processing

Storage and access to data

In its role as Data Controller Aliprandi proceeds, either directly or through the appointed Supervisors, to save the Users’ personal data in databases created for this purpose.
For the processing of personal data (e.g. access credentials – user number and password) in the Customer Area of the Site, Aliprandi uses special databases stored in servers located in its office of Gussago (BS) and all processing operations are carried out by members of its staff who have been duly appointed as persons in charge of processing.
Data is therefore exclusively processed by staff members, including technical staff, in charge of processing in line with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and relevance, within the limits of the objectives of its acquisition and subsequent processing.
The databases may only be accessed by appointed individuals and in ways that guarantee protection and confidentiality, thanks to the adoption of security measures designed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or unfair usage and non authorized access. Data is stored no longer than is strictly necessary to perform the processing operations pertaining to the data of each User, according to his/her choices, preferences and indications.

Processing in general

Aliprandi utilizes User data in accordance with the choices freely expressed and authorized by the User at the time of its acquisition or subsequently, and in compliance with legal requirements or EC provisions or directives.
Personal data is processed using automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was acquired.
Such processing may consist in the acquisition, processing, registration and/or storage of personal data. The personal data of Users requesting information, documents and/or informative material (answers to inquiries, forwarding of additional documentation etc.) is used exclusively to provide the service requested and is only communicated to third parties when strictly necessary to carry out the User’s requests.

Processing operations subject to authorization, communication and publishing of data.

Only on express authorization of the User, will Aliprandi proceed, through its appointed Supervisor, to utilize the User’s personal data with the aid of automated instruments for the purposes authorized by the User on a case by case basis. In order to perfectly execute the activities requested by Users, Aliprandi will communicate the Users’ personal data provided by the latter, to third party companies, co-owners or external data processing appointees, in charge of carrying out specific operations.
Data will not be published.

6. Security

Personal data is acquired and stored securely with the aid of technical and organizational measures and procedures designed to safeguard the information and data acquired through the Site.

7. Links and external contents

The Site could connect or direct Users to other sites, services, social networks or external contents beyond the control of Aliprandi. Once the User has left the Site, Aliprandi will no longer be able to guarantee the security of the User’s personal data or be held liable for the protection and privacy of any personal data the User has provided to other sites.

8. Users’ rights

Pursuant to art. 7 of the Privacy Code, the User is entitled to receive confirmation as to the existence or non-existence of his/her personal data, whether registered or not, and to request communication in an intelligible form.
The data subject is entitled to receive information on:

  1. the origin of personal data;
  2. the purposes and methods of processing;
  3. the logic applied in the case of data processing effected with the aid of electronic instruments;
  4. the identity of the Data Controller, the Data Supervisors and the appointed representative pursuant to art. 5, para 2;
  5. the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed or who may learn about it as appointed representatives in the ambit of the State, in their role as data processors or persons in charge of processing.

The data subject is entitled to receive information on

  1. The updating, rectification or, whenever required, the integration of data;
  2. the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, comprising any data that does not need to be stored for the purposes for which it was acquired or subsequently processed;
  3. Certification that the operations referred to in points a) and b) have been notified, comprising their contents, to those to whom the data was transferred or published, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves the use of resources manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.

The User is entitled to object entirely or partially:

  1. for legitimate reasons, to the processing of his/her personal data, albeit pertinent to the purpose for which it was acquired;
  2. the processing of personal data for the mailing of advertising or direct sales material or for effecting market research or trade communications activities

9. Changes made to this Privacy Policy

It being understood that Aliprandi will in no event carry out processing operations other than those expressly authorized and/or requested by the individual User, this Privacy Policy may be modified to comply with new legal provisions or changes in Aliprandi’s data processing policies.

Each updated version of this Privacy Policy will be published on the Site in the dedicated section: Aliprandi therefore invites all users to consult the Site periodically in order to be constantly informed of the latest uploaded version.
